Commercial Projects The Park at Milton Square, 09/2013: In 2012, Mr. Ernie Pomerleau from Pomerleau Real Estate asked for submissions from the Milton Artists’ Guild to design a 40’x40’ art park to complement the new Hannaford store. Two complementary designs were chosen. My design is for the 40’ by 40’ area that abuts Rte 7, Milton, VT. My inspiration stems from the topography of the town of Milton Vt. The black, 12’tTx8’Wx2’D, dyed concrete shiny monoliths represent the two highest peaks of Milton: Mt. Arrowhead to the North and CobbleHill to the South. The Lamoille River flows through our town and spills into Lake Champlain. I chose a caramel colored granite to represent the sandy soil of Milton and a black/green shimmery granite called Mica Mist to represent the river and our beautiful lake as you would see it on a sunny day or moonlit night.
