 Gisela is a Vermont artist with roots in Frankfurt, Germany and Montreal, Canada. Her art reflects her international experience influenced by Vermont's characteristic eccentricity. Gisela's paintings are mostly conducted on canvas with oil. The rich colors and textures typical of oil encourage a luxurious combination of depth and substance. Although many of Gisela's subjects are flowers, her works extend to acrylic abstracts, stone sculptures and interior/exterior aircraft design. Gisela has proudly served as President of the Milton Artists’ Guild (miltonartistsguild.org) as: President 2010-2013/2014 Director 2014/2015 President 2015/2016 Gisela is a private fixed wing pilot and is a graduate, with the Merit Award, of the New York Institute of Art & Design.
